Strategy + Branding + Web design + Platform + Video capsuls
Cógniti is a social impact initiative aimed at fostering digital independence among adults and seniors, contributing to the reduction of the digital divide.
The global population is aging at an accelerated pace. By 2050, the number of people aged 60 and over is expected to double, reaching 2 billion.
On the other hand, the use of digital applications is not projected to increase proportionally, leaving behind older adults who are not digitally up-to-date. This digital divide will gradually turn them into digital illiterates, leading to social disconnection, loneliness, isolation, and frustration.
With the goal of reinforcing independence and promoting "digital seniors," we designed, produced, and implemented a self-management training platform that is simple and user-friendly.
Our biggest challenge was teaching new technological skills to individuals who struggle to embrace technology, using a tech-driven approach that allows for scalability and a broader impact.
To achieve this, we developed a training platform model featuring bite-sized video content. This information reservoir provides accessible learning, enabling each user to choose the topic they find most challenging and work on it until they acquire the desired skills.
How can we communicate in a scalable way with an audience that is primarily offline?
To achieve this, we worked on the online channel through social media, sharing both training materials and actions. On the other hand, we developed specific workshops on applications, where we not only reinforced digital skills but also promoted the use of the platform.
In this way, the audience gains a dual benefit. On one hand, they learn in person with all that it entails, and on the other hand, they reinforce what they learned in the workshop from the comfort of their home.
